Instruction from the Health Ministry to be protected against HIV/AIDS

While AIDS is not a curable disease, treatment can make it so that those who have been infected can lead their lives as a healthy individual.

Steps that can be taken to protect oneself

  • To choose a faithful individual or someone who has HIV and to avoid immoral relations, and to avoid cross-utilization to reduce the chances of contracting HIV.
  • To not make use of a syringe that has been used by someone else.
  • To undergo HIV protection treatments upon recommendations from those in the health service.
  • To test for HIV while pregnant and if tested positive, to undergo and complete the necessary treatment so that the child does not contract HIV.
