A man who was reported missing from Laamu Gan has been found safe, island officials said on Wednesday evening.

Gan Council President Afsal Jaufar told Mihaaru News that Amjaz Ali, 22, of Kuriboashi, Thundi, was found in good condition.

According to Afsal, Amjaz was found lying on a bench in the Reveries Beach area of the island.

Amjaz was reported missing early on Wednesday after his family said they had last heard from him at around 12:00am.
