MNDF has announced that the special 61st Independence Day military parade will be held in Hulhumale' today. 

The parade is scheduled to start at 4:30pm today, with six squads including the MNDF band. 

The parade will feature various corps and services under the defence force, MNDF said. 

The parade will start in front of the Synthetic Track on Hithigas Magu in Hulhumale'. 

It will make two stops, each of which will feature a performance by the band. The first stop will be near the Central Park at the junction of Hithigas Magu and Huvan'dhumaa Hin'gun, and the second, in front of the SIFCO flats.
