The police have stated that they have towed three motorcycles seen in a video that has been circulating, where motorcycles were being ridden dangerously across the Sinamale' Bridge.

The video, which spread on social media, shows three people on three motorcycles driving on the bridge at night at dangerous speeds.

They were driving in the direction of Male', with two of them laying flat on the motorcycle seat. The third individual sped past them at a high speed.

Not a lot of vehicles were seen in the video, which means the incident most likely took place late at night. Even so, there were a few other vehicles driving along the bridge at the time.

Regarding the video, the police's media official said the three motorcycles that drove dangerously and caused fear in the hearts of the public have been towed. The official also said the vehicles were towed due to the violation of the Land Transport Act.

The vehicles have been towed for a period of 30 days.

The official did not state as to whether steps were taken against the individuals riding the motorcycles.
