The President's Office announced yesterday that applications are now open for the post of Deputy Commissioner at Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA). 

The deadline for application is set at August 5.

The President's Office informed that application forms will be available at the President's Office reception in person, or online via their website. Forms submissions will be accepted between 8:30am and 12pm on all official working days. 

The position of Deputy Commissioner at MIRA became vacant following the appointment of Fathimath Ameeza, who previously filled the post, as Commissioner General last Thursday. 

Ameeza has been at MIRA for over fifteen years, and has previously served as Head of the Enforcement Division, and worked with policies based on data analytics for recovery of unpaid tax and revenues other than tax.
