Former Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation Muaz Mohamed Rasheed has been appointed today as Deputy Managing Director at Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC). 

It has been reported that Muaz was appointed to the position with approval from the company's board of directors. 

Muaz resigned from the post of MD at Fenaka Corporation in December, 2024, stating that the company had fallen to a level where its services cannot be sustained long-term as its expenditure heavily exceeded revenue.  

He stated in a social media post that, for these reasons, he does not believe he can bring any further advancement to the company by remaining in the post. 

Following his resignation, Mohamed Najah was appointed as MD at Fenaka. However, Najah was later dismissed in April, and replaced by Mohamed Afeef.
