A suspect who was accused of damaging the electrical boxes at Vinares Flat and stole copper wires has been arrested.

GDh. Thinadhoo, Looking Glass, Nasrulla Shakeel Hussain, 38, was arrested for allegedly damaging the electrical boxes at the second floor of Vinares Tower 9, police said.

The police said that the incident was reported on Sunday, with the suspect being arrested under a court order on Tuesday.

When the case was filed and the police went to the site of the reported incident, the police said that the electrical boxes had been damaged, the earth wires were cut and copper pieces had been stolen.

When Nasrulla was produced to court to determine his remand, he was given a 15 day remand sentence, said the police.

While the police investigate the matter, two suspects who broke into a hardware store by breaking the glass and stole a copper wire roll had been arrested on Saturday as well, stated the police.
