Maldives National University (MNU) is seeking a party to operate and maintain its Wellness Centre.
The university first announced the opportunity on June 9 and has since revised and reissued the announcement twice.
According to the announcement, bids must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on July 23. MNU said bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.
MNU Wellness Centre provides mental health, counselling and psychosocial support to students, staff and members of the public.
The centre also serves as a training facility for MNU students by offering practical training, internships and supervised clinical placements.
Under the tender requirements, the successful operator must continue providing practical learning opportunities for MNU students. The operator will be required to:
- Offer practical training, internships and field placements.
- Provide practical training opportunities for at least 10 students each semester.
- Give priority to MNU students and graduates when recruiting staff.
