Police are searching for the rider of a motorcycle who fled the scene after crashing into several parked cars in Hulhumale' Phase 2, leaving behind both the motorcycle and his passenger.

According to police, the accident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on Berebedhimaa Hingun 1, when the motorcycle was travelling from south to north and collided with parked cars along the road.

The motorcycle was carrying a passenger at the time of the crash. However, the rider fled the scene immediately after the collision, abandoning both the passenger and the vehicle.

Police said the passenger, a 21-year-old man, sustained a broken lip and abrasions to various parts of his body.

The crash also damaged the motorcycle and four parked cars.

Police have towed the motorcycle as part of the investigation and are working to locate the rider. The passenger is also being questioned in connection with the incident.
