Police have announced that two of five containers that fell into the sea from a barge moored outside the Male' Commercial Harbour has been located now.

Police said that relevant authorities are currently searching for the remaining three containers. 

An MPL official said that all five containers were empty. 

Police said that MPL had reported the incident at around 11:10pm last night, when Male' area had been under severe adverse weather conditions.   

Last night, Police said that the containers are expected to be carried by the tide between Dhoonidhoo and Feydhoofinolhu, and asked those travelling in the area to be alert.
