Two individuals have fallen from the first floor of a building in Male' and have been injured.

Police said they received information of two people that fell from a building on Majeedhee Magu this afternoon.

The two injured people are a 22 year old Nepalese man and a 39 year of Bangladeshi man, said the police.

A media official from Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) stated that they are now being treated at the hospital, with no additional information being given other than they are being treated in the emergency room.

The police said that they are investigating the matter.

Sources have told Mihaaru News that the two expatriates were working on the building where Poise Perfume is, and that they did not have any safety measures in place.
