STO has decided to close its pharmacies for three days for the work of transferring the pharmacies operated by STO to the newly established "State Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies Corporation Limited".

The company stated that the inventory counting work required to transfer the operation of the pharmacies to the new company will be carried out from tomorrow until next Friday, and therefore STO pharmacies will be closed during those days.

However, STO said that arrangements have been made to provide medicine during emergency situations where it is absolutely necessary, even on the days the pharmacies are closed.

Medicines and medical consumables have been imported by STO until now. State Pharma was established in September last year to find a solution to the currently faced issue of medicine unavailability and to carry out that work under a better arrangement than before.
