Police are investigating an incident involving damage to a window at Furuqan Mosque.

Male' City Council, which oversees mosques in the capital, said in a social media post that a window at the mosque was damaged sometime last night. Photographs shared by the council show a shattered glass panel and a missing window handle.

Police said the glass on a mosque door was broken at around 4:10am.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and investigations are ongoing, police said.
