Twenty-five cases of child sexual abuse were reported last month, according to figures released by the Ministry of Social and Family Development.
The ministry's latest statistics show that a total of 81 child protection cases were reported during the month.
Of the 25 sexual abuse cases, 19 involved girls and six involved boys.
Child neglect was the second most frequently reported category, with 18 cases recorded. The ministry also received reports of 12 cases of emotional abuse and eight cases of physical abuse involving children.
Seven cases of bullying and four cases of cyberbullying were reported during the month.
In addition, authorities recorded 44 cases related to child behavioral issues. Eight of these cases involved children refusing to attend school.
The ministry's statistics also show that its 1412 helpline received 1,379 calls during the month, while the 1421 hotline received 626 calls.
During the same period, the ministry conducted 161 counselling sessions and provided psychosocial support services to 44 individuals.
