President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu stated tonight that what will be seen next in the development projects carried out by the government is the acceleration of the speed of the works.

Speaking at a rally held on the island to celebrate the ruling PNC securing the full majority of the Dh. Meedhoo Council, the President said that the government's projects experienced a slowdown due to rising oil prices linked to foreign wars and difficulties encountered in bringing in construction materials.

Highlighting that these matters are now being resolved, the President stated that following discussions in the Cabinet this week, the sequence in which all projects will be carried out has now been finalized.

"When combining the projects already signed, the projects scheduled to be newly signed this year, and the projects to be signed next to fulfill our pledges next year, it includes a total of 2,645 projects," the President said.

The President also stated that the projects have been prioritized under a plan detailing the projects to be completed each month, and under a schedule that prioritizes paying off debts and managing cash flow.

Speaking regarding the political and ideological direction of the country, the President stated that today, there are two main paths ahead for the citizens.

The President noted that those are the path of development, civilization, constructive ideology, and the ideology that prioritizes the nation and religion, and on the other hand, the destructive path that has previously brought ruin and damage to the country.

Furthermore, the President stated in his speech that the ideology of PNC is a very strong and unshakeable ideology, which prioritizes the Islamic religion and the nation, and that this ideology will bring victory to Islam, stability, development, and safety.
