The Rasfannu beach, which was closed for renovations, has been scheduled to reopen to the public starting tomorrow, Friday, 12 June, after a period of two months.

The Ministry of Infrastructure stated in an announcement tonight that the swimming area at Rasfannu has now been completely renovated. Consequently, it noted that the location will be opened to the public starting tomorrow.

Rasfannu was temporarily closed for renovations on the ninth of last April.

Due to severe erosion at Rasfannu and the deterioration of the huts set up at the location, the area had been left unable to be properly utilized for quite some time. The City Council initially began efforts to renovate the place; however, the Ministry of Infrastructure subsequently took over the project.
