A diver who was reported missing at sea near GDh. Gahdhoo has been found dead. 

The deceased has been identified as Ishaq Rasheed, 44, of Asia, GDh. Gahdhoo. 

Police said they received reports of a man who had been out at sea on a fishing vessel going missing at around 5:40am today. 

In the subsequent search, authorities found the man underwater. He was immediately transferred to the Gahdhoo Health Centre, but was pronounced dead on arrival. 

The Gahdhoo Council said that Ishaq's body had been found at 7:30am today. 

Police are investigating the incident.
