Ibrahim Haleem, who worked at the presidential palace, Muliaage, in the service of six former presidents, has passed away.

Haleem achieved the National Award for Public Service in the year 2021.

When he received the national award for his service to the Maldivian state for more than half a century, he held the position of Chief VIP Waiter Consultancy at Muliaage.

Haleem served alongside former Presidents Ibrahim Nasir, Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, Mohamed Nasheed, Abdulla Yameen, Mohamed Waheed, and Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

Following Haleem's passing, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu extended his condolences to his family today.

"The late Ibrahim Haleem spent a major part of his sincere service of more than half a century at Muliaage," the President said in a post on X.

President Muizzu highlighted that Haleem had worked alongside the six former presidents with respect and attentiveness.
