The annual Hajj sermon delivered at the Namira Mosque in Arafat has urged Muslims to increase prayers and prepare for the Hereafter.

Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al-Huzaifi emphasized the importance of piety and said the most meaningful preparation for believers is readiness for the Day of Judgement.

“The most perfect preparation is to prepare for the Hereafter,” he said, addressing more than a million pilgrims gathered in Arafat for the Hajj.

He urged worshippers to act without delay in strengthening their faith and reminded them of the uncertainty of the Day of Judgement and the accountability awaiting humanity.

The sermon also highlighted continued devotion through prayer and remembrance of God, noting the rituals of Hajj performed in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim.

It further stressed the importance of preserving the sanctity of the Kaaba as a place free from shirk and impurity, and called on Muslims to follow the example of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Pilgrims were also encouraged to increase supplication during their time in Arafat, regarded as the most significant moment of the Hajj pilgrimage.
