Police are searching for a 91-year-old man in connection with a case before the Civil Court after he failed to appear for a scheduled hearing.

According to a notice published on the police website, the court issued an order for the arrest of Mohamed Shareef of G. Venusvilla, Male' after he did not attend the hearing.

Police were instructed to produce him before the court today.

Anyone with information regarding Shareef’s whereabouts has been asked to contact the police custodial number at 9991442.
