Addu Police has sought public assistance over the alleged sale of stolen goods at low prices in Addu City.
In a Facebook post, Addu police said a burglary at a residence in Hithadhoo was reported last Saturday and that stolen items were later recovered during a police search operation.
Police have asked members of the public to contact the emergency hotline 125 if they have information regarding individuals selling or purchasing stolen goods.
According to updates shared by Addu police in recent weeks, the city has seen multiple theft cases involving household items and personal belongings.
Reported stolen items have included clothing, perfume bottles, mobile phones, bicycles, birds and even fruits taken from trees, with the goods allegedly later resold.
