Nominations for National Award for Public Service to open Wednesday

The government began awarding the honour in 2021. Since then, more than 500 individuals have received it.

Nominations for the National Award for Public Service will open on Wednesday, President’s Office has said.

The rules for the award will be published in the government gazette, with nominations open from Wednesday until 11 June. Applications can be submitted only through the President’s Office “Form Submission” portal.

The award includes a plaque, a badge of honour and a letter of recognition.

The National Award for Public Service is given to state employees who have served for more than 35 years, in recognition of their long-standing contribution, competence and sincerity in carrying out their duties, as well as their role in advancing their institutions.
