Ismail Rahil has become the first hearing impaired student to graduate from the Maldives National University. 

Rahil has earned a Bachelors' Degree in Information Technology in Engineering Science and Technology.

The degree certificate was presented to Rahil by Minister of Education, Higher Education and Skills Development Dr Ismail Shafeeu at the graduation ceremony held yesterday. 

The ministry shared a post on social media congratulating Rahil on his achievement on behalf of the minister and staff at the ministry. 

Rahil is receiving huge applaud and congratulations from the public on social media platforms.
