A 17 year old girl who had been under treatment for dengue has passed away last night in M. Muli. 

She had been hospitalized at the Mulee Regional Hospital last Tuesday after she presented with fever.

Her condition abruptly worsened last night, it has been reported.  

She had been studying in Grade 11 at M. Atoll Education Centre.

On April 13, a 22 year old from Sh. Milandhoo also died of dengue complications. As his condition became critical, he was transferred to capital Male' City, where he passed away while on ventilator support.
