The Urban Primary Health Care Center in Malé has been temporarily closed today to undergo maintenance work.
In a statement, IGMH announced that the center would be temporarily closed starting from 2:00 PM today until the end of this coming Wednesday. The hospital noted that despite the center's closure, doctor consultation services previously provided there will be available at IGMH’s GOPD for the next two days.
IGMH also stated that vaccination services provided by the center will be available at Dhamanaveshi during this period.
The first Urban Primary Health Care Center in Malé, located across from Rasfannu, was established under a government program aimed at creating a system where people do not have to rely solely on hospitals for health services.
The center primarily provides two services, those are, General Practitioner (GP) clinic services and childhood vaccinations.
