B. Kendhoo Council President Ibrahim AbduRahman's missing motorcycle has been found dumped into the sea.

Speaking to Mihaaru News, Ibrahim alleged that his motorcycle had been sunk into sea by political rivals, claiming he is aware of the identities of those responsible.

Ibrahim has since reported the incident to the Police. He added that he had also provided names of the suspects to police.

"My team first looked around the island for the motorcycle. When they couldn't find it, then they took the search outside of the island, checking the lagoon and such," he said.

"This is clearly politically motivated. I also ran in the last elections, on an MDP ticket. I am an MDP member. So it's envy from the election loss that led them to do this, I would say," he said.

The motorcycle was found 10 meters underwater just outside the island's lagoon. It was retrieved last Thursday.
