Search for a man reported missing in HDh. Kulhudhuffushi led to him being found drowned, Police said today. 

Sulaiman Hussan, 59, of Badifasgaduge, Kulhudhuffushi, was reported missing at around 1:48pm today. 

Police launched a search for the missing man, and found him underwater at the 'Bodavakivaa' beach in Kulhudhuffushi at around 3pm, Police said. 

They stated that Sulaiman had been promptly taken to the island's hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

Police said that they are investigating the incident further.
