Rasfannu Beach is temporarily closed for repairs from today onwards. 

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure announced the closure. 

Rasfannu has faced severe erosion, and the huts on the beach area are also severely dilapidated. 

Male' City Council previously began repair work at Rasfannu. However, the Ministry later took over the project.
