In consideration of the economic challenges arising from the war in the Middle East, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has implemented cost-cutting measures and decided to work from home every Tuesday of the week.

In a statement released today, the PG Office said that one measure taken to reduce expenses is making Tuesday of every week a day where employees conduct the office's work from home.

According to the statement, even on days when PG Office employees attend the office, they will work from home after 2:00 PM.

However, the statement also noted that employees will attend the office to perform tasks that cannot be completed without being physically present.

"Court hearings will be attended regularly. Among official meetings, those that cannot be conducted online, and meetings where it is believed that conducting them online may negatively impact the results that could be achieved, will be held in person," the PG Office statement said.

The PG Office also stated that no delays will occur in the office's work due to the changes brought to cut costs.

Other measures taken to reduce expenses include minimizing the use of office vehicles and reducing paper consumption.

It has been many days since the Middle East began facing major difficulties due to the war initiated by the United States against Iran, with the effects starting to impact the global economy.
