Moosa Rameez, who served as a member of the Special Parliament, has passed away today.

In a post on social media, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu expressed his condolences to the family following the passing of Rameez, who provided significant services in various positions in Shaviyani Atoll, particularly in the field of atoll and island administration.

He served as a member of the Special Parliament and as the Atoll Chief of both Shaviyani Atoll and Fuvahmulah.

Rameez retired after serving the state for many years. During the administration of former President Abdulla Yameen, he also served as a Senior Policy Executive.
