The police operation for the Local Council Elections, "Operation Blue Ray," was officially launched today.

After inaugurating the operation at a ceremony held at Iskandharu Koshi, Acting Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Farhad Fikury appealed to the police to be exemplary figures and to prioritize good conduct and kindness when interacting with the public while on duty.

Furthermore, he requested that even if a tense situation arises, it should be resolved through patient dialogue.

Farhad stated that this work by the police is a sincere service to the nation. He noted that fully respecting human rights and protecting the dignity of every individual would demonstrate the professionalism of the police.

Along with this, he stated that the role of the police in a democratic system is not just to enforce the law, but to ensure public safety and peace, as well as to provide a sense of security.

Farhad also said he does not doubt that the operation will be successful with the courage and capability of the police.

With this meeting, the operational status of the police has now been changed to "Level 2."
