An air conditioner's outdoor unit fell from the sixth floor of a building yesterday afternoon, causing a dangerous incident.
Video footage obtained by Mihaaru News shows the unit, which was being serviced, crashing onto a motorcycle parked on Iskandharu Magu.
Bystanders nearby appeared visibly shocked as the unit fell.
A resident said the incident occurred at around 4:46 pm while repair work was being carried out on the sixth floor. The motorcycle struck by the unit sustained damage.
Officials from the Male' City Council and police attended the scene following the incident.
According to a resident of the area, police advised the motorcycle owner and the party responsible for the repair work to resolve the matter between themselves.
