In connection with SME Digital's 7th anniversary, food packs for Iftar have been distributed to expatriate workers.

The food pack distribution was carried out in collaboration with Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives, an association working for the rights of expatriate workers, with the active participation of SME Digital employees.

SME Digital stated that the activity was conducted to appreciate the services provided by expatriate workers to the Maldivian economy and society.

According to SME Digital, this work was an activity held to strengthen relationships among employees and revive the spirit of giving back to the community.

Coinciding with this year's Ramadan, SME Digital also conducted an activity to provide food assistance to families most in need, in collaboration with the MOMS Aid association. In that activity, donations from the company's employees as well as funds donated by the company were provided to offer food assistance to families living in difficult circumstances.

SME Digital, which has been empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening and developing small and medium-sized enterprises in the Maldives, has provided financial assistance to more than 4,000 small businesses over the past seven years.

SME Digital said that the institution will continue to be active in fulfilling social responsibility through CSR activities, strengthening community relations, and bringing about development that includes everyone’s contribution and participation.
