As per an announcement from the Higher Education Ministry last Monday, the application window for the scholarships are now open.

Students will be selected for the programme by the ICCR.

The Higher Education Ministry stated that interested parties who want information regarding the application requirements for courses, sectors that can be applied to and any additional information can do so by going to www.mohe.gov.me or https://kuri.gov.mv/

Students who are interested in applying for the scholarship are to submit their forms to https://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in/ before 15th April.

The ministry has requested students who are selected for the courses to ensure that the institutes and courses are approved by the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) before they leave for their studies.

They also requested that if students are chosen for a course that requires a specific license to work in Maldives, to ensure that the course is being offered at a center that is approved by the relevant agencies, as well as that the court itself is accepted by said agencies.
