The Elections Commission (EC) has released the finalized list of the eligible voters for the upcoming Local Council Election, Women's Development Committee Election and the referendum vote.
The EC published the list on their website, with the list having categorized voters to specific ballot boxes.
There are a total of 294,876 eligible voters for the upcoming elections on 4th April, of which are 144,506 women and 150,370 men.
More than 190 vote centers will be propped up in the Male' region. There will be 132 centers in Male', 34 centers in Hulhumale' Phase 1, 18 centers in Hulhumale' Phase 2 and 9 centers in Villimale'.
There are 1,592 candidates in the Local Council Election and 1,368 candidates in the Women's Development Committee Election. A referendum vote regarding the combining of the Presidential Election and the Parliamentary Election will also be held on the same day.
