In an effort to further strengthen police services, an agreement has been signed for the construction of a police station and an accommodation block.
At a special ceremony held at the Shaheed Hussain Adam Building, Deputy Commissioner of Police Farhad Fikury signed the agreements on behalf of the police.
The first agreement was signed with Fedo Private Limited for the construction of a police accommodation block in Ha. Dhidhdhoo. Director Ali Wasiu signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
The second agreement was made with Mims Construction Private Limited for the building of a police station in R. Maduvvari. Managing Director Saudulla Hilmy signed on behalf of that company.

These are projects agreed upon to begin as part of the police institution’s ongoing efforts to establish and upgrade police infrastructure in various regions of the Maldives and to improve the living conditions of police officers serving in the atolls.
