Complaint window for registered ballot boxes now open

The Elections Commission (EC) said that while the list of the registered ballot boxes for the upcoming election on 4th April has been publicized, the complaint window has been opened until tomorrow, 1:30pm.

The list of registered ballot boxes for the Local Council Election has been publicized, with the complaint window being opened as well.

The Elections Commission (EC) said that while the list of the registered ballot boxes for the upcoming election on 4th April has been publicized, the complaint window has been opened until tomorrow, 1:30pm.

The EC said that information regarding the ballot boxes is available on their website or by texting "VR [space] ID Card Number" to 1414. The EC also said that complaints can be submitted to their online registry portal.

Complaints can only be made regarding the registered ballot boxes.

There are 1,592 candidates running in the Local Council Election and 1,368 candidates running in the Women's Development Committee Election. There are 294,937 eligible voters across both elections.

The Local Council and Women's Development Committee Elections will see the election of 678 candidates each, totaling 1,356 candidates.
