Police has revealed that under their efforts to maintain safety and security of Male', they have recovered MVR 464,819 over the past 48 hours.
Police publicized data of some work conducted by Henveiru, Galolhu and Maafannu Police Stations over the past two days.
According to this, Galolhu Police recovered MVR 365,099 through various cases, and Henveiru Police recovered MVR 65,000.
Statistics from the Maafannu Police show that MVR 138,552 was reported missing, of which MVR 34,720 has been recovered.
Maafannu Police stopped and questioned 256 persons on the streets. They also conducted searches of 777 locations, and arrested two individuals.
Henveiru Police stopped and questioned 146 persons on the streets and searched 752 locations. They also arrested one individual.
Galolhu Police stopped and questioned 151 persons on the streets and searched 738 locations. They arrested three individuals over the past 48 hours.
