The Transport Ministry has launched an investigation into a pickup driver who allegedly failed to give way to an ambulance.
A video circulating on social media shows a pickup truck stopped on the road unloading goods while an ambulance, with its siren on, was behind it. Other vehicles were also seen caught in traffic, preventing the ambulance from moving forward.
The pickup driver reportedly left the area after unloading the goods.
The footage drew widespread criticism online, with many condemning the driver’s actions. In a statement today, the Transport Ministry said it is investigating the incident and will take action if necessary.
The incident comes days after another case in which vehicles failed to give way to an ambulance attempting to turn near the President’s Office.
