RTL Ferry rates in Faafu (F) and Dhaalu (Dh) atolls, where the service was launched last week, has been announced today.
The Transport Ministry announced the prices for return trips in the two atolls today.
According to the Transport Ministry, one-way transfers in both atolls will start from MVR 35. Return trip fares are capped at MVR 130.
For travel between F and Dh atolls, one way tickets start at MVR 130, while return tickets are capped at MVR 300.
Tickets can be purchased through the RTL website or mobile app.
The service, conducted by MTCC, was most recently introduced in Raa atoll.
At the time, MTCC initially offered free transfers for a week.
Even after the fees were introduced, there is no charge for children under the age of 3 years and persons with special needs.
RTL Ferry services are now provided in 123 islands across 12 atolls.
