The Maldives Hajj Corporation has introduced an opportunity for an Umrah trip during the final 15 days of Ramadan this year.
The corporation said that a lot of people request a pilgrimage to Umrah during Ramadan as it is a month of worship.
The Hajj Corporation opened registration for the Umrah trip today.
As per the corporation, the opportunity to go on the pilgrimage is on a first-come, first-serve basis, where those who register and pay first will be put at the front of the list.
Those who want to register can do so via Hajj Corporation's Faheli portal. Payment can be made via the portal or at the corporation's counter.
The time frame for the Umrah pilgrimage has been set for when schools and the government are closed. Schools will only be open for the first week of Ramadan this year. Along with that, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has decided to make the final ten days of Ramadan public holidays from here on out.
