STELCO has announced that some areas of Hulhumale' Phase 2 may face power interruptions this afternoon.
The company said that there will be a brief power outage in some areas of Hulhumale' Phase 2 in order to allow their technicians to carry out essential work on the distribution network.
STELCO said that the work will be done between 16:30 to 16:45 hrs today, at which time there may be a power interruption.
Areas which are likely to experience the power cut are:
- STO Tower
- MWSC Tower
- Hiyaa Tower 5 and 6
- Amaan Udhares 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16
- Amaan Dhoadhi 5, 6, 7 and 8
- Vinares 9 and 10
- Immigration Detention Centre
STELCO regularly undertakes work to upgrade the electricity network as part of its efforts to enhance services.
