Two injured in vessel–speedboat collision

Two people were injured after a vessel and a speedboat collided near Male' on Friday evening.

The accident occurred at around 7:15 pm in the waters between Male' and Funadhoo.

Two Maldivian men sustained injuries in the collision and were taken to ADK Hospital for treatment.

Details of their condition have not yet been disclosed.

Police said an investigation into the incident is underway.
