Man arrested for moringa leaf theft at STELCO grounds

An individual has been arrested for breaking into the grounds of STELCO on Ameenee Magu to steal moringa leaves. 

The 45 year old was arrested yesterday for trespassing and theft. Criminal Court placed him in remand in custody for 5 days stating he may pose a danger to society. 

The man has a previous criminal record. He stated in court yesterday that he had entered the STELCO grounds to take some moringa leaves from a plant there. 

He requested legal representation, and the court approved his request.
