Maldives-Germany hold talks on strengthening relations

During President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's ongoing official visit to Germany, official talks were held yesterday, led by President Muizzu and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. 

The talks were held at Schloss Bellevue, the official residence of the President of Germany. 

Senior members of the governments of both Maldives and Germany joined in the discussions. 

Talks centered on broadening cooperation through high-level dialogue and formal agreements and both bilateral and multilateral levels, according to the President's Office. 

The Office also stated that the visit coincides with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations being established between Maldives and Germany.
