Developing a resort in Farumuli, bringing economic advancement opportunities to nearby Maafaru and the entire Noonu atoll is amongst President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's pledges. Last July, President Muizzu announced that Farumuli is removed from Maafaru's jurisdiction.
