President Muizzu meets with Male' Citizens Association

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the Male' Citizens Association yesterday. 

The meeting was held at the official Presidential Residence, Mulee-aage. 

The association said that during the meeting, important discussions were held with the President regarding development of Hulhumale', Gulhi Falhu, Giraavaru Falhu and Rasmale'. 

Details of the discussion are yet to be disclosed. 

Photos shared on social media by the Male' Citizens Association show that Deputy Mayor of Male' Mohamed Areesh, ruling People's National Congress (PNC) candidate for mayor Moosa Ali Jaleel, and PNC Parliamentary Group Leader Ibrahim Falah was in attendance at the meeting. 

Although land plots were issued during the previous President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih administration, reclamation of Hulhumale' Phase 3, Gulhi Falhu and Giraavaru Falhu remained incomplete. Hence, the land plots are yet to be handed over. 

This administration has completed reclamation of Hulhumale' Phase 3 this week, and announced that next in line is reclamation of Giraavaru Falhu. A larger area than previously determined has been reclaimed in Gulhi Falhu as well, with land plots now being handed over.
