Over 4,000 cases of canned tuna distributed in Male' area in one night

According to the lunar calendar, Ramadan is expected to begin on February 18 this year.

More than 4,000 cases of canned tuna were distributed across Male' area last night, the Ministry of Cities, Administrative Areas and Public Works said.

The ministry reported that 4,196 cases were released from distribution centers between 8:30 pm and 11:00 pm, with the highest number coming from the centers at Galolhu Stadium, which alone distributed 783 cases.

Minister Adam Shareef said the distribution will continue daily from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm, except Fridays, and all households are expected to receive their cases before February 11.

As in previous years, each household will receive one case containing 48 cans of tuna.
