President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu stated today that this administration has established education as the heart of national development.
In a social media post on the occasion of International Day of Education, he noted that education is the foundation of sustainable development and global progress.
Among these, the President emphasized that education has been prioritized as the most important element of the Maldives' development.
He noted that more than 6,000 students have graduated under the government's First Degree Scheme over the past two years.
President Muizzu also highlighted that more than one billion Rufiyaa has been allocated for higher education loans.
"By investing in our students and expanding educational opportunities, we can shape our future and build a prosperous, equitable, and strong nation. Furthermore, every student will receive the opportunity to progress," the President said.
He added that this administration is working to empower youth as co-creators of education and to make learning inclusive, useful, and revolutionary.
