Two Sri Lankan nationals arrested after airport brawl

Two Sri Lankan nationals who were previously released with a warning in connection with a brawl at Velana International Airport have now been arrested, police have said.

A police media official confirmed that the two men were arrested on Sunday under a court order. They are:

The two were produced before the court and remanded in custody for 15 days, police said.

The incident was first reported to police at 12.15 am on the 9th of this month.

At the time, the two men were brought before police and released after being advised.
